The Boab represents the Kimberleys. The background is inspired by my sister April Nulgit by miing the ochre when they are wet, inspred by my mother Charlene Carrington’s paintings of her Boabs. I’ve put white ochre in my mouth. I sprayed it with my mouth. Men’s also use these method for Joonba dances. Ive used all ochre. I’ve uswed my mouth to create the white sprayed ocre. I’ve used the end of my paint brush to make dots. Charlene Carrington to me and April Nulgit is our mother.
