Beryline Mung was born in 1954 on Texas Downs Station. She began station work at the age of 15 years. When equal wages legislation was passed and Gija people were forced off their country, Beryline moved to Frog Hollow Community.
Beryline has lived in Frog Hollow since then and has raised her children there. She is now a Gija language teacher at the school and an artist at the Warmun Art Centre. Mung paints her country around Frog Hollow and Texas Downs.
